AiiTONE pushed forward the establishment of the branch in Korea with the UAE Royal Family. It is the first time to build the Royal Family Office in overseas countries.
Bruce Jeong, the chairman of Middle Investment said at a press meeting held at Josun Palace Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 8th, “It is the first to launch a Royal Family Office in Korea among overseas countries,” adding, “Although Busan is specialized for blockchain, we are taking into consideration open the office in Seoul.” He holds a concurrent post as Chairman of Middle Investment and AIiiTONE.
Chairman Jeong is expected to open the office in the middle of November to early December. The opening will take place under the Royal Family Office.
According to Chairman Bruce Jeong, it plans to open to Japan and Vietnam after launching the branch in Korea. The branch in Vietnam will operate by combining Myanmar and Cambodia regions.
Royal Family Office is a global organization based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates that is developing business across various sectors such as real estate, energy, investment, and so on.
AiiTONE predicts extending the investment opportunity in the UAE for Korean startups and corporates through the opening of a branch in Korea.
In the meantime, the domestic companies should have gone through the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) to enter the Arab world including UAE and Saudi Arabia, which was inconvenient.
However, the specific business support direction was not determined. Chairman Bruce Jeong said, “We are in the process of the specific direction of business support and whether to pursue an investment model.”
The day of the press meeting, involved AiiTONE CEO Lee Jin-yeop, Middle Investment Chairman Bruce Jeong, UAE Royal Family Office His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al-Qassimi, and relevant officials from domestic major companies.
UAE Royal Family Office delegates those who visiting Korea on the 6th, held meetings with SC Standard Chartered, Kim & Chang, and Yang Hyang-Ja National Assembly Office, and scheduled to tour of smartfarm field in Gangjin, Jollanam-do.
Royal Family Office His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al-Qassimi said, “I highly appreciate Korea, which is proud of its natural environment and has achieved great economic development,” adding, “We will strengthen cooperation with Korean companies, and extend economic interchange between Korea and the United Arab Emirates that will serve as a bridge through this visiting.”
Chairman Bruce Jeong stressed, “The branch in Korea will be playing a role as an international business hub and will focus on three major fields of STO, CBDC, and Smart defense to connect Korea-Arab businesses.”
In the meantime, AiiTONE's three major business fields were also introduced on that day.
Kang Man-soo, the executive director of the defense business introduced AiiTONE’s skills and achievements that have developed involving the integrated system support, technical manual and Interactive Electrical Technical Manual, and maintenance training machine.
He said, “We have been developing weapon system manuals and training simulators, such as battleships, in-country development homing weapons, T-50 and FA-50 fighter aircraft. Also, we are expanding participation in the overseas export business to Indonesia, Malaysia, and Poland by forming a strategic partnership with domestic competent defense companies,” and delivered his aspiration that he will make great efforts on technical development to promote K-Defense’s excellence.
